Blade Maidens: Dead in the Water – 15
“27 Sulna’s Peak, 877
No change. I held out hope that my wayward spell could have stirred up some shift in the winds but we remain as stationary as we have since the initial assault.
I’ll dig through my books. There must be something I’ve forgotten. Some technique or theory. I can fix this.

Another attack last night. Thank Gyvenia for Melody’s nose, without it we would have undoubtedly lost yet another member of the crew. The merfolk are fierce fighters, and so very different. One may attempt to crush my skull with a massive crab claw while another sports ghastly tentacles with stinging barbs akin to a beard. I’d love to question them, were it not for the assaults and language barrier.
4 Harvestmark, 877
I fear we have run the gamut of Melody’s sea shanties. Poor girl has a few dozen prepared to go but the days are long and the crew is growing morose. The sea tack rations certainly don’t help. I fear you could club someone over the head with these dreadful things and they wouldn’t even crack.

Eldridge broke up a fight this morning. One of the crew claimed another was hoarding salt pork–which we ran out of days ago. The men had drawn knives, I fear if Eldy had not been present we would be sewing up yet another corpse and stretching the crew even thinner.
There must be something. Anything.
15 Harvestmark, 877
My research has turned up nothing. No spells. No rituals. I fear we are trapped here.
Ser gave me their dinner today. Said she just wanted to sleep after we cut their hair.
I’m not sure they’ve eaten in a day or two.
Damn you, Morganna.
You’ve killed us all.”
