Blade Maidens: My Sister’s Keeper – 2

“This document hereby establishes the Fire Protocols of Port Kilzea, any alterations must be made by majority agreement of the Captains’ Council.

In the event of powder discharge, responsibility for the detonation will be determined after the flames are extinguished. All able-bodied crew and citizens must attend to the flames, regardless of ownership or property.

If a fire spreads to at least 4 separate buildings, actions will focus on soaking the surrounding buildings to prevent further spread rather than extinguishing those already aflame.

If caught neglecting to tend to a fire, an individual will be fined 50 silver pieces and held in the stocks for 48 hours. If found to be acting under orders of a captain or employer, said figure will be executed in addition to the individual punishment.

Any found guilty of intentionally setting fires or causing a powder discharge will be keelhauled. If the injured party from said fire has a ship available, they will carry out the sentence themselves. If not, a ship will be granted for the public punishment by a member of the Captains’ Council.”

A document signed by the founding Captains’ Council of Kilzea, housed in the city hall.

“Stop fucking burning down my storehouses or I’ll gut you in the streets, Hamish.”
